Tom Wright

Tom volunteered for a predecessor charity to KHT in 1988 and again in 1992.  He has been a trustee since its formation and is currently the Chairman of the Trustees.  He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and works in Edinburgh for an investment company.


Jenny Delaney

Jenny volunteered with KHT in 2001, working on a clean water project, and became a trustee in 2016.  Jenny grew up in the UK, graduating from Cambridge University with a degree in economics and is now based in New York working as a client portfolio manager for Morgan Stanley.


Richard Ellis

Richard Ellis has lived in Thailand for 35 years where he runs a Company engaged in commercial and industrial representation for Government programmes. He formerly worked for the UK Government Economic Service and Standard Chartered Bank.


Beth Wiggan

Beth became a trustee in 2013 having been involved with KHT since she volunteered on a water project and as a teacher in 2004. She read Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge and is now an academic at the Institute of Criminology in Cambridge. She is the Research Manager of a large ten year study into the causes of youth crime and author of a number of criminological publications.


Vicky Pert

Vicky volunteered in 2006 after her retirement as a barrister who worked as a Prosecutor for most of her career, specialising in youth work.  She then became an inspector of the Crown Prosecution Service. She has visited our projects in Thailand several times.


Chad Shampine

Chad volunteered with KHT in 2001, working on a clean water project.  He received his B.A. from Columbia University in economics and mathematics, continuing on to graduate degrees at the University of Cambridge and Princeton University. He is currently a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, based in New York, with responsibilities in currencies and international markets. 


Barney Smith

Barney Smith is a former British Ambassador to Thailand. During his diplomatic career he lived in Bangkok for more than ten years in three different postings. He was also Ambassador to Nepal, where he was closely involved with the British aid programme.
