The price of the standard teaching placements vary according to placement length.

Normal costs are:

• Placement up to 6 months: £2000 (gift aided)

• Placement up to 3 months: £1000 (gift aided)

• Summer Placement (8 weeks): £550 (gift aided)

The price of a water system placement is £550 (gift aided)

These prices include:

• Administrative costs in the UK and Thailand.

• Induction and training.

• Your stay in the village.

• Telephone support in case of emergency.

• Part of your donation is used to support the charity projects.

• Prices can be confirmed with the UK office, who will also be glad to offer fundraising and sponsorship ideas.

Not included in this price (that you will also need to fund) are:

• Your air fare.

• Insurance.

• Visa expenses.

• Vaccinations.

• Spending money (approximately £60 per month).

For 6 month placements, you will need to pay a 10% deposit once your place is confirmed, the remainder will be due 1 month before departure.

For any other placement a deposit of £100 is required, this is payable upon confirmation of your placement and the balance will be due 1 month before departure.

Gift Aided means that the donation must come from an individual who is a UK tax payer as we can reclaim a further 28% from the Inland Revenue. If the donation comes from an individual who is not a tax payer or comes from outside the UK, we would expect to receive a further 28%.
