Improve Education
Spend from 8 weeks to 5 months of your gap year teaching English in a Karen School, helping the children have a chance of a brighter future.
You'll not only teach... but learn. You'll be submersed in a new culture, a new people and a totally new way of life...
There'll be opportunities outside of the classroom too. Have you ever ridden an elephant through a jungle? Been white-water rafting? Or even learnt to play an instrument you've never see before?

Improve health
Spend 3 weeks in July, or August installing a clean water system in a Karen village, dramatically improving the health of the Karen people.
Too much like hard work? Not at all! There'll be ample opportunity to meet and interact with a culture you'll never have experienced before.
Time in the evenings to relax in the Karen village, sample traditional cuisine, learn about the life, society and traditions of the Karen and even the opportunity for a 2/3 day trek to explore and discover this beautiful area of Thailand.
