I am just about to complete my final year at school and embark on a Gap year to experience new cultures and to widen my horizons. The opportunity to go to thailand with the KHT therefore seemed like the perfect idea as I could also give back something to the world as I have been so fortunate.
The money raised will help volunteers like myself, help support the Karen People though asisting in such activities as teaching and building water systems in remote villages. Through this work it is hoped that the Karen People can be given a better future.
