I am passionately interested in sport and the arts and will be using these skills to teach English. At the end of the trip, I hope to be involved in a water installation project. There are still 1000s of villages without clean water and at the end of my teaching placement I will go on to help install a clean water system in a remote village.
I would like to raise £2,000 as my contribution. This money would help the Trust’s work in the Karen community, on vital projects such as education and clean water systems. To help raise this money, I intend to donate some of the earnings from my summer job. I am also looking for sponsorship of my cycle trip across 1,000km of the Tibetan plateau from Lhasa to Kathmandu in July 2008. Not only will it be an amazing experience, but the money raised will go to this very worthwhile cause. Any donation you are able to make would be really appreciated. Thank you!
