In October I will be travelling to Thailand to work as a volunteer teacher for six months. The school is in the north, an area populated by the Karen Hill Tribes. At the end of the school year I will be helping with a project to install piped drinking water to rural villages.

I am currently a Physics and Philosophy student at the University of Bristol. I will be graduating in the summer of 2008. My plan is to immerse myself in another culture before starting out in the world of work.
The money raised will be used to aid the continued effort of the Karen Hill Tribe Trust to improve the education and general health of the Karen through projects such as the ones described.
